  Nice, clean place. Very good restaurant nearby. The main problem was that the electricity was cut during our stay, from 7 pm until next morning we left, thus there was no light and no water in the room. Since electricity cuts are usual there, they should have a generator, at least to provide water in rooms. We met interesting people in the hotel's yard, and shared traveling experience.

  Despite the reservation they told me they're full when I arrived. They didn't even bother to call and ask if I'm coming

  Rooms are small but clean. Beds are OK. TJ is very friendly. Please check your shower before checking in some have hot water problems or no water at all. Also be aware the hotels next door are extremely close so people can see in very easily to some of the rooms!! Nice location though out of town a bit on a quiet road

  I liked to stay here and I would chose it again if I was back in Gondar. The location is stupendous, a bit out of the mess of the center but still only a couple minutes walking to the heart of Gondar. The Four Sisters, arguably the best restaurant in Ethiopia is literally around the corner and the neighborhood has a local pulse which pleased me a lot. T.J. is the owner, a nice local girl with excellent English and always willing to help and provide necessary info. My room was probably the best of the house and for it I paid 350 Birr, but there are other cheaper options. It had one of the most comfortable and large beds I even tried in my life. Little negative points: bathroom was smelly and really worn out, during the day is a bit noisy and it's difficult to relax there. If you need to leave your luggage or keep your room after the usual check out time, check with T.J. if an additional payment will be necessary.

  great value for money (280 Birr). No breakfast, but Restaurant next door. Courtyard will look much nicer when reconstruction is finished. Owner super friendly and helpful! Room and bathroom clean, but small - cannot expect more for this price! Location OK, easy to walk to downtown.
