  It's got some interesting architecture and Emily Pankhurst is buried here. It's no better than other churches especially is Europe. On top of this when we visited we went in and were turned away since it was prayer time, hence didn't actually get to see anything. And yet were still expected to pay the frankly disgusting price of 200 per person which is steep even for the UK. Overall I wouldn't even recommend visiting unless you love architecture, are very religious or have nothing better to do.

  Well worth the visit. Was lucky to have been during a busy weekend over fasting season and was in owe of the passion of the church goers. Make sure you get a guided tour (included in admission) by one of the officers you meet when you pay for your admissions ticket. The museum is interesting but the guide that takes you to the tomb of the monarchs behind the Cathedral was a highlight

  Overall ok...But 200 Birr entry fees per head from Foreigners is not worth it..

  The Holy Trinity Cathedral is an attractive historical church with old architectural arts. It is now serving as the main center of the Orthodox ‘Tewahido’ Church as all major events of the church takes place here. If you come to visit in the fasting season Monday to Friday afternoon 12:00 AM to 3:00 PM and Saturday and Sunday morning 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM there is a mass ceremony in the Cathedral. But if you come in the rest times of the day it is free and not crowded. Moreover , If it is not a fasting season the mass ceremony is in the afternoon 12:00 AM to 3:00 PM only on Wednesday and Friday in all other days it is in the morning 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM. So I hope we can arrange your visit to the cathedral when it is free and empty or with the people and the colorful spiritual Ceremony.
