::Very clean and nice room, really nice garden in which we had lovely breakfast and especially friendly staff. Nice to know: the son (Gashew) of the woman in charge has a travel agancy who organiced us amazing tours to the Simien Mountains and Danakil Depression - so you might not want to book it before you stay at this place. He is a really nice guy but not very pushy, so we had to ask him instead of him pushing on us - that we liked very much!

::I wouldn't recommend coming here. Although it was not too far from the centre and the market, the bad definately outweighed the good. I understand that we shouldn't expect much $50 per night but we have stayed in cheaper, better places around Ethiopia. It would have been acceptable if there was a shower that worked (it was very low volume and pressure) or a mosquito net that was effective (the one present had huge holes). To cap it off there was a guy there every morning and night, I'm not sure if he was an employee but he was pressure selling to us the various attractions in the area. It ended up him arranging a taxi to Gondor which actually didn't go to Gondor city centre but a village 10 miles south. I hope the best for whoever runs this place but if they changed a few things I'm sure they will get more business.

::Welcome by super friendly hosts. Well priced arrangements made for local activities. Plenty of information about the city, places to eat and other amenities. Comfortable if slightly rustic rooms, with plenty of hot water and a generous peaceful garden to enjoy the coolth of the evenings. Breakfast great!

::3-room bed and breakfast with incredible breakfast--waffles, freshly squeezed orange juice, and omelette. Feels like home. Kind host knows her way around town with wonderful, honest, and fairly priced tips. Stayed in the queen sized be room inside the main living area. It was perfect for one person. Also stayed in the family sized room and found that to be cozy and perfect for a family. Walking distance to shops, Lake Tana, yummy restaurants, and Saturday market. Best part is the outside garden for breakfast and relaxing after a long day.

::Wonderful place, quite, confortable bed, clean toilete. The best is breakfast, including waffles! Not 5* because was a bit overpriced for a guesthouse. Very kind personnel
