  This was the worst place we've been to in our whole 3 weeks in Ethiopia. The faranji rate is 70$ per night and they have no hot water. Actually, it's not even lukewarm. This seems to be a continous problem, they said many guest would complain about that and it was a problem with their system. During our stay, the problem could not be fixed. So we kindly asked the manager for a discount, because it was very uncomfortable not being able to shower for 2 days. But he wasn't accommodating at all and very unfriendly. After half an hour of arguing, in which he said things like we couldn't expect hot water in a developing country (of course in a room for 600 Birr we never would expect that, even though we had incredibly cheep rooms with good and warm showers!) but for an upmarket hotel this is not an acceptable argument. In the end he gave us a 10$ discount, even though we saw that other guest had gotten 25$ off for the same reason. This was an incredible uncomfortable experience. The rooms are alright, the mattresses a bit hard and the facilities (lounge) are rather worn down. The staff is mostly very friendly though, but the laundry is overpriced, breakfast is really not any good and it is quite loud at night. So if it wasn't for their disagreeable manager, we would give 2 or 3 stars for a mixed experience, but now it's only one.

  Neat and attractive hotel with good hospitality. It located almost at the center of the city and allow it to be accessible. Some of the pee equipment needs to maintain.

  I've been in this hotel for 5 nights in the mid of July 2018 and slept in their Suit Room for 2 nights and Standard single 3 nights. They are very neat, quite and secure. Everything is automated and electronics based. I highly recommend them for travelers staying in Mekelle.

  Nice city hotel, ideal for a business traveler: great hospitality, clean room, suitable chair and desk, tea pot, fair amenities, multiple power plug in, WiFi, multiple TV channels...Things needs improvement: mattress topper to make the bed more comfortable. Don’t forget to close the water basin after wash to avoid bad smell..needs a water seal to be installed.
