Campsite right on the falls. Hospitaliy of Thomas and his staff was great. Food was excellent. We slept in our tent, but some huts are available Do not expect 5 stars hotel, just a simple place to enjoy this amazing place. Thank you again Thomas!

I liked very much to stay here. It's a bit of paradise on earth and although there isn't much to do around, it's an ideal place to relax, read and socialize. I was supposed to stay 2 nights, stayed 3 and didn't really want to leave. I stayed in the large hut was has great thermal insulation, cool during the day, warm during the night. The falls are very beautiful and the market is not to be missed although it only occurs on Saturdays. On the other hand I advise to chose business days to stay here as on weekends people from Bahr Dar invade the place and the quietness is seriously affected. It is still good, but better during business days. Bird spotters will be in heaven here. It's just amazing! Tamasgan, the owner, was paramount for the success of the stay. He will get you anything you need, solve any problem, get any information. He is a true fixer, a natural talent. He will even find solutions in places far from there, like an accommodation in Gondar which was excellent. And he knows intimately the region, so he will point you where to have a great bath in the Nile or the best spots to see the waterfalls and so on. Food is good and fairly priced but for longer stays it becomes a bit boring as the choice is very limited. What could be improved? The toilette, definitely. It's really the soft spot of the whole experience. And there is a certain cult of money making which is OK, well, but a bit too much. A little flaw which will be forgotten considering the quality of the experience and the warm character of Tasmagan, a guy who I hope to see again in the future.

We had an amazing day here and Temesgen is a wonderful proprietor. We did not stay the night, but we came for lunch and enjoyed home cooked doro wat, as well as tea, coffee, and tej. The settings by the waterfall is incredibly sereneβ€”don’t miss this if you are coming anywhere near Bahir Dar.
